Also known as a Chamois which is a goat-like antelope that lives in the mountains and may be seen climbing steep walls. In fact thanks to their paws which have "non-slip" clogs, makes them the most skillful climbers of the Alps! They have very thick hair in winter, which is able to capture the warmth of the sun. This is the reason they are able to withstand very low temperatures. Males and females of this species have curious hook-shaped horns that continue to grow throughout their life. If you want to know more about these beautiful animals come visit the Stelvio Park in Val Alpiselle in Italy.
